Mt Anne Attempt #2

Jono and I headed out for the circuit of Mt Anne. Unfortunately, the snow cover and abysmal winds hindered our progress and we opted not to attempt the full circuit.

The snow started at about 600 metres above sea level.

High camp hut was where we stayed the first night in an attempt to wait out the raging blizzard. The rock hopping further on in the circuit would've been too dangerous with the snow coverage.

Eliza plateau viewed through a quick smattering of sunlight.

Stupendous views of Lake Pedder and Scotts Peak.

The drains were warped and damaged by the next morning due to heavy snowfall.

A cup o' tea before setting off for the car in the morning. The weather stayed gruesome throughout the day. Maybe next time Mt. Anne, maybe next time.
