Nelson Lakes National Park Tramp

I managed to complete an 8-day solo circuit within the nelson lakes national Park. It consisted of many long rivers, icy cold pools and two major, ice-covered passes. I had no alpine equipment, but managed to cross both without too much hassle. So far, the most amazing tramp I've completed in full.

Pinegrass Hut - lunchtime!

Icy glacial rivers

Lake Rorotoa

A few broken bridges made the journey all the more exciting. Was up to my stomach in water...luckily for the warm day, I was dry in no time.
